About Me

Hello There & Welcome!
Thank you for taking time to browse around my blog! There will be many different things which you will find posted here....a few things which you will quickly realize are that.... I am spontaneous, unpredictable, all sprinkled with a little crazy! But believe me it will bring you a laugh or two.
I am a proud and fortunate mother to have blessed with three amazing daughters.  Ages 20, 17, and 16.  They are by far the greatest accomplishments of my life.  I have learned to go with the flow, laugh, cry as little as possible and just enjoy the ride. :)
My true passion is being an artist.  All sorts of art interest me: card making, scrap-booking, ATC's, mixed media art, and my newest love art journaling!  I will share many of my projects with you here and give you some tips and tricks along the way! I  have many other interests which include gardening, spending time with family, and being a soccer & lacrosse mom! Each and everyone of these things make me who I am today!
A few years ago after reevaluating where I was in life I decided that I wanted to take my life in a different direction.  My children were grown and in the upper grades of school and my volunteer work within their schools had slowed down.  After careful consideration I made the choice to go back to school to get my Masters's degree in Education. Quickly I began studying for my Master's in Secondary Business Education & Secondary Special Education.  Being a student was something I really enjoyed the journey that it took me on.
I have worked the retail end of several scrapbook stores in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  For a few years I partnered up with a good friend and ran full day crop events and classes.  Teaching paper crafting is something I also have a passion for and have taught in my local New England Area, and in North Carolina at Donna Downey's Inspired! retreat.
I hope that you enjoy your stay as you poke around the blog and come back often as it is updated frequently!  You can also follow this blog so you get updates as new posts are published.

Peace,
Kathie
