***I ment that

This man R-O-C-K-S!!!

Oh MY!! The Phil Vassar concert I mentioned I was going to in a post earlier this week ended up being on the top of my list for concerts this year!! He was sooo amazing. He rocked the house! It rained and then poured....and then it rained some more. And truthfully it just added another level of excitement to the already exciting atmosphere. Then the sun came out and the party continued and then he remained around for another 45 minutes to shake hands and sign autographs. The girls had their hands autographed, their cell phones autographed, and I was able to get my ticket stub signed. He loves what he does and is just thankful for being able to do it!! I must mention that my middle daughter was the only one out of the six of us that went that didn't have a great day. She was so annoyed of the rain, and I was just the opposite. I looked at her and said, "either embrace it or let it ruin your day, the choice is yours." I think it ruined her day. Just not "perfect" enough for her. She has gotten alot better over time, but, man....she can be a prune!!!

Today we had a great day at a pool party for the soccer team. It was one of those days when time just flies by and the day is over. It was great.

Tomorrow is going to be a downtime morning and we will see what the rest of the day brings.

We have a new member of our family.....stay tuned!

Our Photo of the Day.....Yesterday.....

We went to the butterfly zoo in Tiverton, RI yesterday and we took some really amazing photos. I gave each of the girls the camera for a few minutes to see what they could come up with through the lens. This photo was my favorite for the day. If you look in the center you can see the zebra butterfly. Just black and white and as beautiful as ever. The yellow flower has water drops on it and I really loved how the closer greens and pink kalanchoe are a bit blurred and the back ground is so sharp. The bright blue backdrop is so awesome too.

My blog is close to 3000 hits, such a milestone!! LOL. Lots of viewers and so few comments. Hummm....I'll get over it....some day.........Happy weekend all!

Korie goes to Africa!

My cousin Korie is the one holding the soccer ball. The best thing about this picture is that she is wearing a skirt. My cousin Korie dosen't normally wear skirts. So my family and I have really gotten a chuckle out of this. The funniest thing of all is that when she was a young child her mother dressed her in custom made clothing with lots of ruffles, plantoons, matching hats..the whole nine yards!!!! So, I believe for her not to wear skirts at this point in her life is because her mother completley scared her for life in all those fancy outfits as a child!! LOL. Anyhow, she is one of my youngest cousins and I am so weirdly emotional about her going into the Peace Corps. Its a big wad of proudness, excitement, jealously, scaredness..... but mostly I am proud of her for following her dreams. Here is her blog if you would like to follow along on her journey. Also, for all you insane card makers, feel free to send her a card with encouraging words. Its a long way from home!!

I love this little guy!!!
Here is a little peak at one of the new cards I have created to sell. I love the color combination on the background paper. This is hand sewn, and alot of dimension is added with layering to make this card POP! These are very much "out of my box" so to speak.
I hope you enjoy this card!

Technical Difficulties.....
No matter what I tried to do today with the computer I had trouble. GRRR.....
Anyhow, how is everyone???
No photo's today due to these problems. Please view the slideshow which I have added to my sidebar. On Sunday we had an excellent "family" day with the girls. We went to Indian Ranch in Webster Mass. and saw Eric Church and Billy Currington. They were both great, but the day overall was really perfect. The weather couldn't be any better either. This coming sunday we are heading back and are going to see Phil Vasser, who was amazing when we saw him a few months ago at a different venue. I hope to post pictures soon.
For those of you who know how I like "bad boys" visit this site and listen to "all summer long". I hope it makes you have a happy beat to your heart.
xoxoxo, me.
p.s. dosen't anyone leave comments anymore??????????

Another 2 weeks of GREAT Tennis......

OK....I know to this boy I am an old I would just like a piece of him for a little minute!!! Do you see his "guns"??? This Spanish hot-throb has become pretty well know in the tennis world for his set of gorgeous, sexy, bulging arms.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the world of tennis...may I introduce you to Rafael Nadal. The 2008 Wimbledon CHAMPION. He won in 5 amazing sets of tennis against Rodger Federer. He is an 4 time consecutive champion of the French Open and has really cut into some uncharted territory winning Wimbledon today. It has been years since the same man has won the French Open and Wimbledon back to back. Rodger Federer has won the Championship for the past 5 years! "Rafa", as he is known, was born in 1986!!! That is so funny to me~~it happens to be one year before I graduated from high school. He is from Manacor, Mallorca. (I need to visit this place!) He has earned about 18 million dollars in his tennis career, 4 million this year alone without the win from today! So...what he doesn't have in age he has in cash...hummm, nice trade off!! {tee hee}

Today's match was the longest in Wimbledon history with five sets, three tie breakers, two rain delays and one very exciting ending. All three girls went out last night for a sleep over. I woke this morning, went out and got Chris and I some coffee and donuts and we watched this epic match together for most of the day. Breakfast at Wimbledon has become a tradition in our house and today it was so peaceful without the girls. During the rain delay I even managed to make it to my local Scrapbooking Store to stock up on some paper...well because there was a sale after all!!

Venus Williams was the winner of the ladies Championship with her little Sister Serena as the runner up.
Tomorrow I will have some unveiling news (doesn't that sound important) about the launching of my card collection. Stay tuned...

Things that make you go hummmm..............

One thing I am is a "Craigslist" junkie. It is like a yard sale everyday. I have been hoping to find a baby and/or toddler or two to mind this fall so I have been looking to get some "equipment" to have at my house.

I came across this add today...

Are you kidding me!!!!!
